As Facebook transitioned to Meta, we collaborated with Meta Reality Labs to conceptualize and design the first official Meta Shop.

We developed a clean design system that could effectively unify the diverse product offerings within Meta's portfolio, including Portal, Ray Bans, and Oculus.

By employing a highly adaptable exposed grid as a foundational framework for the design, we were able to effectively structure and present content from the different product teams meeting their varying needs. 

It also allowed us to carefully balance the need for differentiation with the desire for a unified user experience across the entire product ecosystem.

My Role & Credits

As a junior designer on the project, I collaborated closely with the senior team to build out the site’s component library, while taking the lead on designing and iterating specific components and product pages for client review. My Role & Credits

I also assisted in creating the master design bible and ensured a seamless handoff by adapting all layouts for multiple viewports for the development team.
